Your name, held on a sign by an English-speaking assistant, signals the beginning of a seamless journey. Guided to your private vehicle, the assistant accompanies you to the hotel, ensuring a smooth check-in. Day 2LIMA Creative Cuisine

Day 3LIMA TO PUERTO MALDONADO TO AMAZON The Journey Continues…

Bid farewell to Lima as the jungle beckons. A private transfer awaits to escort you to Jorge Chávez International Airport. Your journey deepens as you board a flight to Puerto Maldonado via Cuzco, a scenic route spanning three captivating hours. Touching down at Padre Aldamiz International Airport, the Amazon Lodge team welcomes you. A short transfer to the river inlet and a 45-minute motorized canoe ride along the Madre de Dios River bring you to the heart of the jungle.

After a delicious lunch, the Amazon unfolds its wonders. Collaborate with lodge guides to craft your personalized adventure, choosing from a menu of group-based activities shared with fellow explorers.

Day 4 and 5AMAZON Lose Yourself in Nature

Choose the rhythm of your jungle experience, whether to greet the dawn or savor a leisurely morning. Breakfast, served between 5:30 am and 9:30 am, caters to your preferences. Venture into the Tambopata National Reserve, exploring the mirror-like Lake Sandoval aboard a wooden canoe. Day 12CUSCO It’s All Ancient History

Embark on a privately guided tour, delving into the traditions, history, and mysteries surrounding Cusco and the nearby ruins. Begin your exploration at the Qorikancha Temple, once adorned in plated gold and featuring courtyard statues made of solid gold. Conquistadors described it as “fabulous beyond belief.” Today, the Church of Santo Domingo stands on the site of the original temple, offering an excellent opportunity to learn about both Inca and Spanish culture and architecture from your private guide. Continue to the picturesque Plaza de Armas, the heart of this vibrant Andean hub, and visit the resplendent Cusco Cathedral. If you would like to climb to Huayna Picchu Mountain, please take in mind that is an unguided hike and require and additional cost. If you are interested, please consult with your travel specialist as we need to check availability far in advance.

Restrictions

Train stations and train schedules are subject to availability, also due to rainy season Poroy train station is closed from January to April of each year.

The train to Puno only runs on certain days – if your itinerary that’s not match these days then you must have to take a private transportation or fly, please consult the options with your travel specialist.
